That is great way to learn hold off for hunting in windy conditions. Were you guys fighting though on who was going to pump your rifle up to help keep warm. Looks real cold out there lol.

thanks guys it was only minus 10 out that day so not to bad lol and that was a round bail covered with plastic that we were shooting off!

haha Strikefast, I have a blast with both of my kids and am very blessed to have full custody of them there growing in leaps and bounds and I am daily amazed with them both.
This Saturday I am going to watch my daughter shoot in her first biathlon competition! .....she is on a cadet core marksmanship team and also there biathlon team!
I will try to get some pictures up of my girl shooting with an air gun along with a pile of other young girls her age!

Now that IS cool! They used to have programs like that here for students but sadly the likes of it have gone the way of extinction in most cities.
What rifle is she shooting? I imagine the school supply the guns. Most are shot with FWBs.... I really would like to see the pics. Is it Airguns or .22 firearms.

they shoot air rifle for both the Marksmanship and biathlon using the Daisy 853C and if she qualifies this weekend she moves on and uses a .22lr Anschütz ....she will have a slight advantage over the other girls with the amount of rounds that she has sent down range with me and her brother at the sportsman club that I belong to ...I am more excited then she is I think lol

Hope she does well. She will have a blast with the Anschutz..... Very accurate. I have an Anschutz barrel on my Styer. She is shooting at 10 meter I suppose. I will add a pic of my Styers 3 shot group I shot after zeroing it in for my Pellet Path program. I moved to open class in shooting field target competitions and need to click. I shot at 14yds and 30 yards. The 14 yds is literally one hole and the 30 almost the same. Had some wind but it hit well. I am on the phone and need to send pics through the laptop.

Ye s it is shot at 30 feet 10m 5 targets of I think 3/4 inch shot prone ...if she moves on to stage 2,3,4 all shots are at 50m with the .22 ....lol she has been shooting 1-1.5 inch groups with my rugger 10-22 at 100 yards all summer lol

Jonathon, here is the pic of my Anschutz barreled Styer target shot at 14 yds top dot,and 30 yds for the lower dot. The dots are 1/2". The hole to the far left is from another target removed and is on the backer board I stick the targets to. I was checking the clicks that the Pellet Path program was giving me.
FWBs, Anschutz, Hammerli, and Styers are all fine quality rifles capable of fantastic accuracy rt out of the box. Most world shooters use one of these brands in competition. That is why I bought this gun for my field target endeavors. I just hope I can do the rifle proud...lol

Forgot ...There is three pellets through each dot... Wind was pretty strong around 10 mph coming from the rt. This target was open at 14 yds and between blds on the 30 yd shot, At that 14 yds the pellet showed little wind effect at 885 fps. The wind was swirling between the chicken coop and the back of my shop. If the wind was down I imagine the 30 yd would be one hole too, as it has done holes ike the 30 yd dot at 50 yds ...cool rifles
