Always reading about guys getting moa at 100y. I finally did it at 102y with my new to me Maverick in .22. Shooting nsa slug 24.8/.217 at 940fps. 10 shot group. Can never do that with my Mutant, but it’s deadly accurate at 50y and under 1 hole all day with 16g or 18g.

I was shooting on a gun rest in a somewhat awkward position on top of my hood. I am going to credit the NSA slug for this accomplishment. I did tries shooting with JSB 18.1 at 920fps, get between 3+".
Out of the 10 shoot group, the 3 flyers, I'll blamed myself, slugs or wind lol.

Congrats on your great group and the hard work it takes to get there. My FX rifles also love the NSA 24.8 grain slugs but in .218 and lubed with Balistol.

@thach2264 That’s the thing about shooting groups, most days there usually seems to be a shot or two that we either screw up or that have a mind of their own. Wind is a different animal, especially when it switches directions on you or moves in two different direction at different points within your range. Still I think that long-distance airgun shooting is fun stuff. Keep at it.

Very good shooting. Isn’t it so satisfying to see the group build shot after shot? What a fun shooting session that must have been. And it’ll only get better, not that it needs to lol! Thanks for sharing.

was able re creat some moa group but at 105Y!!! A bit more wind today. Oh that one group…. I should estop at my first 3 shots. But I feels like it’s my day and I’m feeling it, but the wind and slug gods weren’t having it.
