Sorry but I can't imagine what would make you think you can know what I "do not have" when it's literally the same one as in Post #1's link, as I said. I clicked that Amazon link and it says "purchased on xxx xxx date" at the top.
Anyway, here is proof showing my clamp on version. Which says... "Clamp-style" right on it.

Here's a picture of the underside that shows the sensors that capture the light from the 2 bulbs on the bottom. Pretty cool how it works!

And here are the instructions that came with mine in case someone wanted to try some different settings out. I just swap to FPS and don't do anything else. But if you want to there are multiple functions.
Sorry this is sideways:

Apologies accepted, BackStop. Sorry I was overly defensive about a $35 chronograph! My apologies! I was not aware that they actually are making a clamp-on 4 digit, FPS (not MPS) model now!
As soon as I can be sure I can get an FPS/4 digit model, I WILL be ordering one! (smile)
If for no other reason than as a backup as the 3 digit/MPS model I have is still working very well.
Again, my apologies for sounding accusatory. I did not mean it like that at all.
I'll look for a link to purchase it in this thread. (grin)
P.S.
Just ordered it from this link:
If I was not sure what I ordered was capable of FPS and has a four digit display, I would not have ordered it.Apologies accepted, BackStop. Sorry I was overly defensive about a $35 chronograph!
This is the one I ordered last year, and going by it's photos- it does look like it'd only be 3 digit. Hope you get the 4 digit FPS capable model this time!
I ordered the vikka. Should be here tomorrow. Will post my journey with it lolIf I was not sure what I ordered was capable of FPS and has a four digit display, I would not have ordered it.
check the link I posted, taken from a post by Sturckat (or something like that...) and it explicitly says it is capable of FPS and has 4 digits, which means that it will give better accuracy even if left in MPS mode. The model I have now works VERY well, but is limited to MPS with no tenths of a meter.
Otherwise, I would not have ordered it... (smile)
I'll try to compare the new one to the one I have had for about 3 years now and see if they give similar readings. Who knows... but for less than $40, I can't see any disadvantages unless you really want to start splitting hairs and have a LOT more money than I do! (grin)
Tested it; works great!!

View attachment 328264I know we bought are fans of the 2289. We can do a comparison on shooting the same pellets to see how the results compare?? I have the ProChrono DLX.
