My friend are finally on the ball with his rag time NV scope, he have now shot 2 mice in 2 days and both in the first shot.
Maybe it is upping to 13 gr slugs that did the trick, but dont think so his SP M30 shoot the 10 gr ones just fine too.
you can barely see these little mice with that old scope, you can detect the movement and then you have to shoot where the movement stopped and hope for the best.

Even more spectacular, yesterday dialing in his SP pistol with a cheap ass dot sight, this colorful guy waltzed right in across the field to the bait station.
And that was a mistake as the baby eagle are visiting every day now, so my M8 dropped it at 25 M with a single 13 gr pellet to the back.
So baby eagle will have a royal meal tomorrow when it swing by the 20 foot container.

And still enough power to make it all the way thru it, it took off after the hit, made it 10 M or so, dropped and moved a little for a few seconds, and then it was gone.
By the looks of the red foam on the beak i would say he at least got the lounges too.

For what it is, a cheap ass pistol and ditto scope i think it was a fine shot, flipping the 4 / 5 paddles on the Gamo resetting target at 30 M was not easy.

Which Pistol did you use for the bird? How many ft/lbs?

Nice and clean dispatchs!

My friend wacked another one today, also broard daylight kill.

Also the trigger on his rock bottom snowpeak failed, not holding the hammer when cocking it.
My guess on a broken spring in the trigger system was true, and the broken spring is now replaced with a new one from a 1:24 scale RC truck if i am not mistaken.

He can not shoot them at night CUZ the only place where he can actually see them with his ancient NV scope, they just blitz thru.

M8 been at it again.

Mouse still stupid enough to pop out in broard daylight, so this morning my friend got two more.
Probably shot with one of his M30 snowpeak rifles and 13 grain slug.

Adding to that, as he was sitting enjoying his new DRS, and finally being able to sloot long range like me.
Well i pheasant pranced across his line of fire at 80 M ( i assume he was shooting 75 at the time CUZ there are wind today )

Anyway the eagle will feast royally again tomorrow, and this time the meal will be tied to the handrail of the container so we can get a better look at it with the PTZ camera while it eat.
