My FWB 300 S

My 1984 FWB 300 S:

- Stock stripped, grip painted black, finished with boiled linseed oil.
- Steel barrel weight for clean look when not using target sights.

Original spring (I think), new piston ring/bumper/seal, quite stable at 192 m/s with JSB RS 0.475 g, sounds good, absolutely hits the target when I do my part.

I got my 300 before I saw Rheas videos but his enthusiasm and attitude hasn't taken the joy away to put it that way.

How do you do the 
"Boiled Linseed oil" treatment?

Apply a thin coat, let dry for a day or two, sand lightly with fine grit, repeat until satisfied.

Does it darken the lighter stocks?.
Do you need to boil the oil first.? Noob here

Boiled linseed oil can be bought in shops selling paint. It will change the appearance of the wood, best thing is to try it out on some scrap wood to see what you think.
