This is what my FWB124D and the grey that I took with it a couple of years ago. I stayed away from this springer for years until I humbled myself and purchased one, this one is definitely a classic! Brain shots forever!

My dad bought me a 124 as my high school graduation present in 1980. It was an extreme extravagance. I did not go for the deluxe even though he offered it up. I was all about the performance.
I had lusted for one for years after reading the stories about how you could shoot an antelope in the eye with it off hand at 40 paces.

What I love about this springer is its extreme weight (as in light) and balance, it's the perfect off-hand shooter. It's cocking effort is perfect for an all day shooting experience without wearing out your arm. The accuracy is out of this world for a springer and if I were to run out of air for my pcps, for whatever reason, this is one springer that I would pick up in a heart beat for small game. This springer was built for its accuracy and not power as with the Beeman R1 which is another story for "Traditional Airguns".
