From the looks of this double 480cc setup from Perkyval's Impact, it doesn't look that a two bottle setup would give you any more clearance with the 500mm barrel to use a larger mod:

My curiosity got the best of me... so here are my findings:
With the 500mm barrel, and anything longer than the 300cc bottle, you will need a moderator 1.25” or less, anything larger will hit the bottle.
the top circle represents the DonnyFL Tanto at 1.22” diameter. the bottom circle is the 2.4” diameter bottle. With this configuration, there is 0.07” space between the bottle and silencer. The schematic is to scale.
Scenario 2
Using a dual bottle adapter, and two 2.4” diameter bottles, would allow up to a 2” diameter suppressor, with plenty of clearance.
the pictures are CAD, and shows exact fitting.
with a dual bottle adapter, and a 2” DonnyFL Emperor you good to go!

Really sharp like that carbon wrap look. Can u tell any weight difference with the 300cc bottle vs 480? I have a Impact mk2 500 barrel & would love to make it lighter. its getting heavy for this 69 yr old to carry squirrel hunting.

Thank you . . . the wrapped parts (along with some others) are being cerakoted as we speak so I'll have a slightly different look in a week or two.
As for the bottles, the 300cc bottle with valve weighs 15.75oz and the 480cc comes in a t 1lb 5.25oz so you'll save about 5.5oz using the smaller bottle. I did appreciate the slightly lighter weight but it wasn't worth it having to fill the smaller bottle more often.

The CF 300cc vs CF 480cc is 65 grams difference (or 0.125 lb) Now if you have an aluminum bottle, upgrading to a carbon fiber will make a huge difference.

No. The DonnFL FX mod is too wide. The only DonnyFL mods that will fit are the Koi and the Tanto.

Correct, you need a mod no larger than about 1.22" in diameter to clear the 480/580cc barrels on the compact. The donnyfl FX mod is 1.36" diameter.
Here's my M3 compact I'm putting together for night use, the other pics in this thread were an influence in going this route.
I'm using a Huggett Belita which is 1.22" in diameter and only about 0.200" longer than the bottle... you can see the mod barely clears the bottle, there's only about 0.050" clearance.

Hello guys,getting across this thread and found some very usefull informations,thinking to make my COMPACT M4 .25 even shorter,would put some 1.22 silencer but without shroud directly to liner knot thread,to stay flush with the air tank,probably something 6-8 inch long,now i have Tatsu with a shroud,so did anyone made comparison with shroud and short silencer Tatsu,Mini magna,beluta,fatboy or similar vs that vs only silencer 1.22 but 6-8 inch so bigger length,is it louder,same,more silent?
