My guess on a new gun like yours would be one of the oring on the barrel. They are easy to nick as you insert the barrel. When you fire the air can be pushed forward. I’d replace them and lube them up. Insert slowly twisting a little side to side.

I guess later I'll do the tissue test to try and find out where I feel the puffs of air coming from.

May want to check your pellet probe where it enters the barrel/transfer port. Could help removing the barrel and looking inside at the o-rings near the transfer port.

Well I did the tissue test and nothing! I even put a small piece into that space and nothing.
So I guess it's my hand (Overly sensitive) that I'm feel vibrations resonating from that area. Near as I can tell everything is working as it should!
I guess being a Quality Assurance inspector makes me overly picky about things. LOL!

Here's a bit of FYI. (things that I didn't see information on the Impact after searching for months researching)
The Impact .22 now comes with the fixed shroud.
The .22 has a 600mm barrel vs the older style 500mm
It seems that now the Impact comes with a dust cover for the fill plug like the crown.
If you are left handed? You can easily operate the safety with your thumb. (Which is really nice)
Because of the cheek rest and the scope rail, You will definitely need high scope rings.

Well the overall length (I haven't removed the insert) of the barrel without the shroud is 24". So I would think it wouldn't be the 500mm. (But I'm not positive) Maybe later when I have time I take it apart.
I'm working on a Prism type scope cam mount. (I couldn't see myself paying $200+ for the side shot) Phone videos don't seem to have very good clarity to make it worth the cost.

FX Decal on the bottle
Green Blob bipod. (3 washer/o-ring mod)
Anti cant scope level.
A picatinny rail QD sling mount.
Carbon fiber wrap on the shroud:
Now I'm building a Sports camera prism mount.
Got the universal camera mount from Ebay Cut the insert tube about 3/4" and made pvc shims to mount the prism. The scope mount can do both mount my phone or mount the Sports camera. With the sports camera it will work like a poor mans "Side Shot" where I can still shoot it like a regular scope.
I'm still waiting on my 4k sports camera to come in from Amazon.
But so far I've spent about $70 for this set up. Not bad considering that it can do both phone and Go Pro type of camera.
Well I let you guys know how it turns out!

It a sticker they put on it. (Nornally I'm the type to remove any dealers marking BS.) But I think it actually looks good! And I really don't mind supporting Utah Airguns, Great group of guys and gals there!
I'm thinking about removing the carbon fiber wrap. Makes it look different but it just doesn't seem to go with the rest of the gun. Or? May be I should wrap the tube in the stock also??

toku58 Is it possible to show a picture of the three washers & o-ring mod ? will be getting one in the future & heard several other people talk about this. I;m sure its common sence but would like to be prepared. By the way nice looking & congrates ! Having trouble picking the wildcat or waiting on the dreamline, either or this one will be new & 25 cal.

Could be airflow displaced by the movement of the hammer. I am currently Impact-less, so I can't verify it anymore

Digging this post !! Have a .25 cal impact that is suppose to be here early next wk from Utah airguns also. Have you been to the range yet with it ? Nice looking gun. Mine also will be wearing a GB bipod and Aztec scope, and eventually a side shot mount and high capacity mag.

I'd be interested in your final setup with that camera mount. I'd much rather use my GoPro 5 in a Side-Shot configuration that my phone.

I'll make sure I update this post!
Just got notified from Amazon that my camera will be here on Wednesday!
So far everything for the mount cost about $80 and some time. I saw the video about the go pro mount that the guy prints it on a 3D printer.
But hopefully I will be able to overcome his issue.
If it works out? I'm willing to help out others build their own.
But lets see how well I do on this first.
