My FX Maverick

Just cutting and pasting, but this is more in line of what my airgun factory would have made.

I hope this is not bad form, i do myself consider what some people to do some cars as a cardinal sin.

Do you find the "SAFETY" at the rear of the stock an issue..............seems ruff to get to when finger on trigger? i.e. the impact in silver

I’m a lefty, so my thumb lands right on it. I’ve never even thought about it before. My sons both shoot it and they’re both RH. Pretty much a non issue.

I would also put 3 gauges on it, for the 3 things ( bottle and REG 1 & 2 ) all on the same side of course.

I enlarged the plenum diameter to close the gap between it and the barrel shroud.

Of course not knowing if any of this is possible as i do not have the CAD drawings, and when i do finally get my Maverick i am not about to tear it down and measure it up, not least now were i as a pensioner no longer have access to CNC lathes / mills.

I have a few KG of lead to sling before anything else,,,,,, okay in pauses in the establishment of the model railroad, and you need a lot of those at my age / physical condition.

The FXM just look better to me this way with no exposed barrel in the back

The K&L subframe or what ever you want to call it, i will probably also get that, need to forward attachment point of bipod if i go for one of those that is.

Will probably just bag it to start off, being on a Danish pension you cant race towards your goals.

Probably also going for a vertical grip.

I like mine, has some small changes.

I do like the full length barrel shroud though.

Honestly I prefer the safety location on my Uragan compact. It’s just nice to get on target, click safety off then shoot. Plus if you decide not to shoot it is just as easily turned back on. I use to work at a duck hunting club(12years) and much preferred the safety at the trigger guard.

Before i found out Gunpit ordered "special" mavericks i was going for the compact as i think that will be fine pushing just.177 pellets

Of course then if i upgrade to .25 or .30 with a longer barrel, a bigger air tank would also have to be procured for that upgrade.

Man i am so locked in, dont even think about my cyclone sitting there in its box 7 feet from me ready to go,,,,,, but thats probably due to the still for my liking too low temperatures here in little old Denmark

Hmmmmm? you did Not say where the Location is???...." Uragan compact " FX Maverick.....on the end/butt........some say they do not care/notice..... to me I wish it to be ON/Near the trigger so I may Simply flick it on/off Jus Proro and after a shot....routinely rather than remove the gun and look down at the Butt area of gun Each time....especially if I put the safety off however quickly decdte to shoot because all of a sudden a target appears...IMO?????

Oh, and bigger tank?

The New M3 with a bit more efficient air valving even in .30 and being able to fill to 300 bar instead of 250 should be able to give approx 35 shots @ 925fps/Hades/Lite pellet (for 30 cal.) I am Not paper punching and thirty five ish shots more than adequate for a walk in the woods. Apparently you guys see Much more game than I. ???

My goal is to Keep it lite and able to swing Quicker being shorter. Help me here cuz I got PEA size brain! ~
