I started with a pic rail folding stock but, didn't like the lack of adjustments in both height and length. Now, I can adjust the length and, have three height adjustments at the pic rail to buffer adapter. It's in the middle position in the pics however, I like the lowest position and moved it to the lower slot after shooting a little.
I started with a pic rail buffer adapter from A3 Tactical (I forget what weapon it was for) for a template then, machined to my liking and fit. I doubt it's up to some (including my own) standards but, I'm still working on refinements.

I think options are nice. 1 second it's a pistol and the next it's a carbine. Nice job.
I don't see why not. Hubens options are either a bullpup or a pistol, you could always take the rear stock off. It would be like having a leshiy 2 but for a lot less money.

Um...by definition, a "pistol" with a shoulder stock is...NOT...a carbine.

Why are you confused
Why the confusion? I buy and do as I wish, I’m blessed. I have one that’s a pistol and one that’s a micro carbine. So, to answer your question accurately, I did it because I can and want to as well as they didn’t have what I wanted…I wanted a folding micro carbine with the power present in the GK1. Actually, the more I respond to you, the more I realize that the thing speaks for itself…

And unlike my Edgun, it can fire without the stock. The pic rail folder was a really fast detachment but, I prefer the buffer set up.

In this case the gk1 is a pistol made from a rifle. Technically it is a shortened K1 rifle; so it is a carbine according to your definition.

Looks so light and sweet handling. Definitely liking how you have it set up. I bet it handles as good as it looks… Your micro carbine is a great example of this new designation. Carbine, mini carbine, micro carbine?
