Your welcome.Gerhard had one in his m3 , He was comparing to an older walther barrel HUBEN K1. The newer guns have unchoke chinesse barrel made by huben themselves.1 in 21 twist . The are said to shot 1/4 inch groups with pellets.Thats right an unchoked barrel shotting pellets with extreme accuracy. And slug shooting the same size groups.
Tuning My guess is fx will be bringing out new slug barrels very soon

Don't know anything about new FX barrels but want to comment that the common thoughts about choked vs unchoked aren't necessarily set in stone. Case in point: I have an unchoked LW that shoots pellets REALLY well, as in documented in long range Extreme FT competition-well.

Lol choke isnt needed to shoot pellets accurately... Its all about pairing twist to distance shot... Heck with it you could shoot pellets accurately even with no twist at all.. FX secret with pelletliners is plain and simple.. super slow twistrates..

Super slow twist rates aren't in favor for heavier longer bullets/ slugs and speed matters as well need the correct speed and the correct twist rate to shoot slugs / bullets accurately .

Choked or unchoked doesn't really matter pellets can and do shoot well out of some unchoked barrels I think it's more about skirt and head size to the barrel and feel like a choke is kind of like a bandaid fix

What would be gained by new barrel liners? From what I'm seeing, the existing liners are accurate. How much more accurate can they get?

That's the FX business model, just look at the last few years. Slug Liner A, Slug Liner B, Smooth Twist X, Superior STX, and I'm sure there's more, those are just the one's that I've seen referenced lately.
As for whether or not the newest iteration of the liners is any "better" I don't know. I DO know that at the November Xtreme Field Target match here in AZ, Centercut had the best score of about 14 pellet shooters. And he was using an older FX from before all these liner options were a thing.
