Umarex My Hammerli 850 .177

Just wanted to share a few pictures of my Hammerli 850. I recently picked it up on Ebay for a great price This rifle has been on my list for years.
I added a Hawke 3-9 scope, adjustable cheek rest & bipod. I also did a trigger job on it and shimmed the hammer spring.

Averaging 650 fps & 10 fpe with a JSB 10.34 Ultra Shock. The fpe & Ultra Shock combination have worked quite well for pesting at the permission in the pictures.

One of the pictures is of my son shooting it. He is getting more and more into airgunning with me which I think is awesome

I have a couple .22 and .177 Had them for quite some time,I did some mods on one .I really like them,I got a great deal on a box load of the CO2 for them .They are simple ,accurate and fun. Your son has good form,yes i,ndeed great to have your son aboard

Great gun !! I have the same setup. Rumor was the manufacturer used LW barrels on the gun , and by the accuracy I wouldn't doubt it.

I also have taken many pigeons with the rifle.

I marked the mags with a horizontal to show empty mag.

The cheek piece on yours is an add on....did you customize?

I am definitely enjoying mine! I have heard the same thing about the barrels and you are right about the accuracy Spot on!

I bought the cheek riser off of eBay. I will share a link. The kit comes with several different templates for different rifles. None of which are a Hammerli 850. Lol

I had to pick one that I thought was closest and use it. There are different blocks that go inside the stock depending on which rifle you are putting it on. I had to take one to my belt sander to make it work.

I am a lefty so the thumb screws are coming out the left side but you can set it up either way. Happy Shooting

Fun air rifle. I owned two .
Last one I made it use a paintball tank and regulator and use a remote line.
Much cheaper then the expensive 88Gr cartridges.
