Just giving my thoughts about this new compressor I got. I purchased it from field supply with free shipping for $1093. Vs what hatsan is selling for $1339 retail price. Air venturi compressor is $1399 on prymaid air and airgun depot. It the same compressor as the air venturi which was my first choice 2 years ago but didn't have the money to get one at the time. But the hatsan is better than the av imo cause its cheaper, and has a digital gauge you can program when it will auto Purge, what pressure you want it to stop at, chance from psi to bar, display reads F instead of C. Also you can calibrate gauge to read what your tank is reading at so both will display same pressure. The auto Purge is a nice feature so your don't have to keep coming back to bleed it every 10 mins or so. I own a yong Heng look alike, paid $230 for it. But it wouldnt fill my tank to 4500psi. It would go up to 4000 and stop building pressure so I thought about getting the one with yong Heng on the side and used mine as parts but then I didn't want to carry the bucket out every time I top off my tank so I went with the hatsan. It came in a nice wooden creat which make it easier to carry into the house. When I first run it I was like, wow this thing is very quiet vs the yong Heng. Like twice as quiet. I used the air filter on my hill pump mk3 fill with molecular sieves type 13x with a hose to run into the air intake on the compressor. I used a gold filter with the plastic tube fill with dry dry blue silica gel, molecular sieves type 13x, and activate charcoal. Imo it's way better than the gold filter with white cotton filters. I used g-05 zerex with 50/50 distill water for coolant. For oil I used royal purple. I have the compressor for a little over a month now and it's still running great. Have not change oil or filters or anything yet. If you don't want to spend $200-300 on a yong Heng cause you think it's cheap junk, and don't want to spend $2000-4000 on daystate or Bauer compressor, get the hatsan lighting from field supply. You won't be disappointed. Also has a 1 year warranty so anything goes wrong just contact hatsan and they will repair it or replace it free.
