My Labor Day Project

I've been wanting to do this for a while, but sometimes life gets in the way. Found some very detailed and simple plans online for a shooting bench that appealed to me. They list all the supplies you need and give instructions for cutting every board, and step by step assembly . If I can do it, anybody can ! Just be forewarned, this bad boy weighs a lot. Anyhow thought I'd share it with fellow airgunners.

Very nice! I'm planning something similar but I'm setting tile instead. It's 102 right now so the thought of working outside does not exactly fill me with joy, LOL! Cold beer on the other hand.......

Nice job, it looks great for sure! That’s going to give you years of enjoyment! I made the same one, same plans anyway, but changed some things around a bit. No seats, trex(was on sale), added a small storage area, a basket underneath and angled the rear cuts a little bit. I actually made mine with seats but took them off, they were too low for my boys. We got some old office chairs that adjust instead. You’re going to love it. Enjoy! Here’s the one I made with a second bench I threw together with the leftover pieces of wood.

That looks great. Using the Trex was smart, probably saved some weight and never need sealing. After my bench cures for a couple of weeks I will be applying some sealer to help slow mother nature down a bit. Having a stable bench sure helps my shooting.
