My Leshiy Build...

I thought I would share my Edgun Leshiy build, I did a couple of small modifications and upgrades to get it where I want it...

Upgrades: AR Style Magpul Grip, Huma Pellet Holder, 350mm Barrel, Donny FL Leshiy Suppressor Adapter, DonnyFL Sumo Suppressor w/custom cover...

Modifications: Spring Plunger Trigger Screw, 8mm round X 2 mm thick Rare Earth Magnet, "wear plate" for "automatic safety"...

Optics: Tac Vector Veyron 4-12X44 FFP, Sig Sauer Holo Red Dot....

Bi-Pod: Genuine Atlas bipod with ADM Quick Release...

Enjoy... Ken

If I have one complaint about the Leshiy it's that it doesn't have a two stage trigger, after reading what others have done, I purchased the "Gibraltar" spring plunger type screw with a Delrin tip to try, I installed it but found it had too weak of a spring... I have another spring plunger type screw provided by Edgun West with a stronger spring and steel ball plunger instead of the Delrin, it works much better for me and once adjusted gave a predicable let off, greatly increasing the accuracy...

I don't have the specs or part number for the spring plunger screw I am using (shown in the first photo below)... Sorry... Ken

It's an ATN X-Site, not thermal, uses available light or IR for night vision mode, it's an older model, works well for nocturnal pest control etc, wont be putting holes in holes on paper with it... Speaking of that, my Leshiy is very accurate out of the box, the two targets below are five shot groups using a Sig Sauer Holographic Red Dot (1 MOA Dot) at a distance of 40 feet indoors...

I had to adjust the group a couple clicks up and one to the right... 5 shot groups .22 cal using JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo 13.4 gr

Not sure I'm going to keep the "woodland" camo on my Leshiy, I designed some graphics "wraps" for mine, I think the woodland camo would look great on a ceracote tan or green rifle, I did several different graphic patterns including carbon fiber and several different camo paterns... I think the "urban digital" night camouflage looks the best with a black rifle or a combo of carbon fiber and the digital camo...

I added an 8mm round by 2mm thick rare earth magnet and a "wear plate" to the rifle to solve a couple issues with the folding stock and "automatic safety", there's also a clearance issue when the bipod is mounted on the lower picatinny rail... A couple photos...

The added strength of the rare earth magnet keeps the folding stock in the folded position, the added thickness of the magnet creates a little more clearance for the bipod when mounted, but also creates a gap between the stock and "automatic safety", the plastic bit is from a prescription bottle and serves double duty, making up for the additional clearance created by the thicker magnet and protecting the metal parts from getting scratched when the stock engages the safety, the black bit is high strength double sided tape... I positioned the plastic bit as a "wear plate" to contact and engage the "automatic safety" it works very well...

A local 3D printing place made it for me from an STL file I found on this forum... Its very well made and fits perfectly... A stock Magpul insert fits as well...

I'll include the file, if this is against any rule, kindly let me know, I will remove it from this post...

it was made on this machine... (I got the grand tour of the facility, they can even 3D print metal parts...!!!) Very cool stuff... Ken

Those wraps are nice. My only concern would be when removing the stuff. That vinyl can leave a nasty, sticky mess behind. I have done similar work with vinyl for radio controlled cars. Nice job with the layout work. As for the 2 stage trigger mod. I have considered doing to my leshiy but really I have not found the stock trigger to be an issue for myself. Just curious why so many put such large optics on something so compact? And I see a lot of added length as well. Still though, the builds are nice. Thumbs up.
