My marauder slowly leaks

Just unscrew the air gauge slowly and let all the air out. Replace all the o-rings. You can get all the o-rings at Home Depot. Marauders are stupid easy to work on. Do not send it back. You can reseal it for less than a dollar and in less time to take it to the post office.

You can buy new crosman fill valves directly from crosman for $15. Call 800-724-7486 and youll need the part #.
Also put teflon tape around the gauge threads. Very easy.

I Agree with DON'T send it out. I did that with my Maximus and it came back with a fast leak instead of a slow leak. (I sent it to an airgun repair company, not crosman.)

i know this is an oldish post but I too have a leak in my Benjy Marauder .22. had it since 2018 and was leaking the day i got it....which kinda sucked .. super accurate though. i was hitting quarter sized groups at 40 yards and im only mediocre of a shot.

Well, you should have sent it back to Crosman if it leaked from new since they do shoot and leak check their products. Look at the exploded diagram, understsnd where the seals are and find the leak. The M-Rod is a simple rifle, only a few areas are leak prone, the pressure gage O-ring is one of them.

Remove the shroud and put a balloon directly on the barrel muzzle and close the bolt to see if the poppet is leaking.

Use a solution, WD-40 has been suggested by some, around the gage hole port in the bottom of the air tube to see if there are bubbles.

Purchase a seal kit and reseal the rifle, deburr the gage port hole in the air tube with a hook knife and chamfer/polish so it does not cut the O-rings as they pass over it during assembly.
