My mind says buy this

I keep coming back to this Ali express deal. Do I really need 3 compressors in 2 months?
It just seems to cheap to not try. Also seem easily rebuildable.
My first was a Amazon $200 cheapie that would fill a gun.
Second is the Gx cs4i I’ve been talking about. It seems like all I’d ever need.

but this one is so tempting for the money

@blackdog899 Have you read many Tuxing threads on AGN?

I'll be buying that one once my Yong Heng is no longer viable but I still have a piston rebuild kit so it will be a while...

If you don't let it overheat, and you maintain it correctly it should be ok. You will eventually have to replace consumable parts, but parts aren't expensive and fairly easy to tinker with.

We've been spoon fed compressors much like computer technology and I too have found myself collecting compressors. My only problem with these compressors is the excessive noise. I picked up 3 yong heng knock offs for a 100 bucks each a couple years back thinking I would just switch them out as each one failed. The original one is still running fine. Don't know what to do with them now that I have a CS4i. I'd sell them but they are so heavy it would cost a fortune to ship them. I guess I could use them as boat anchors.

Only thing you really need to do on the Tuxing dual cylinder is upgrade the water pump. The one supplied is adequate to keep it mostly cool but is very cheap. The inlet and outlet hoses are quarter inch. I use a 1/2 inch pump with a reducer to the head inlet. I try to keep the head temp under 150f. Usually stays under 130f.

As for the 9l, I filled mine in 2 stages and put ice in the water. It is a long haul to fill 9l tank. Once filled I just top it off occasionally. 6.8l I can fill in a single stage, but I do it in the morning when everything is cool and put ice in the water. Frozen water jugs work well too. Again once filled you just need to top them off.

Preachin' to the choir there my friend, I've got 234.5 hours on this one, been running her 2-3 times a week to fill 65 sq ft bottles. :ROFLMAO:

Room temp water with antifreeze for me, never gets past 45C.

@blackdog899 I assume you are aware that this model Tuxing needs an external cooling bucket and hoses since it's a lower end model. You will pick up fill speeds over the GX CS4 but it will be noisier with hotter running temps and require more frequent rebuilds. I used to be a compressor trader owning 7 in the past 20 something years but never more than one at a time. Each new compressor was an upgrade or had features I wanted. Luckily I no longer have the itch to switch. No pun intended.

Yes aware , saw the u tube videos with people’s elaborate cooling units. I don’t expect to go very far in that direction.
Its another unneeded thing that the price convinced me to buy.

if I saw this first I wouldn’t have the Gx cs4i. I’ll tell you one thing I doubt I’ll be without air.
