We like putting black targets in dark locations. It's one of those FT "traditions" and feels so good when you hit it. I don't hear much complaining here in Texas, but if there was I'm sure Scott would shut it down.Well, you could always have a conversation with the backyard match director and share your "feelings." LOL . Honestly, that's why I would NEVER have a black target at our range. It is absolutely unproductive. people always complain. We find it doesn't "challenge", rather, it impairs. then my next suggestion would be a reticle that fully illuminates if holdover is your thing

Hysterically speaking, "essentially" is a BAD word.... when what i mean to say, is the relative rise and fall of the pellet in relation to the earth's curvature is minimized somewhat predictably from two certain points in space and time....before gravity completely wins... or some such nonsense of which i have no idea.Physics.
Nothing shoots flat, even essentially!
