Man you slapped PA I assume for your stuff.... Good luck with the newbie... Oh you may want to get Harry Potter to lend you his cloak of invisibility to cover it in the garage....
LOL that was what I meant I actually have a pretty cool better half, I joke and cut up about her shall we say thriftyness but she is every bit the better half One of the guys that I keep the feral Hogs off his hay field for has a lot of third year round bails he is going to let me run them in a double line to make a 50 yard wind free shooting lane (I did say a LOT of old hay) and I have been doing a bunch of studying on the Mega seems most of its quirks are about the same as your breaker we will see. Oh I know it's not ever going to be an FX but from everything I've read and through you guys I think it could make a decent training platform. We will have to see how nose heavy it is I just need someone to help me navigate the ropes in FT competition.
Willie, you can pm me and I will send my email. I would be happy to offer what I can fit the sport. It is definitely addicting.
I have two videos as basic field target starters on You Tube. In the You Tube search put in: " Fortress of Pelletitude" and it will show those films and some from my Field target making business...
I just handed my Kral over to Will Piatt, The gun looks like a clone of the Evanix Blizzard, Will is the master tuner for the Koren guns, so it seemed it would be a good idea to put it in the hands of a real air gun tuner, of which I am not. (Just a tinkerer with air guns)
Without a barrel change, I wanted to see how much he could wring out of the gun..
My friend and tuner in Puerto Rico, Just made a 4500 psi air tube for his and added an Anschutz barrel for accuracy... He hunts Iguanas down there, shooting 80 yards.. Oh and it is a .177 I have not asked the particulars of the gun but will and let you know what heis getting from his gun.
As many tuners that work these guns over the better imo, you're going to really like it after everything is right or made to be correct.
I got a bad for you I mean I knew it but the rail section should be thrown in the garbage, I tried all kinds of washer combinations could not get it to tighten down fully so as the bipod or foregrip would not wiggle. Now it wasn't much play but enough so as I did not like it.
So I simply added a 9 slot rail, $9 at Sportman's Warehouse, 10 mins slap on, there problem solved...
Yeah I saw that. There is a second washer in the handle that is that truly nasty geared. It digs in like no tomorrow. It could be used to help the rail from moving.
Me, I have a MOE aluminun 4' rail that I am only going to need to drill one hole in the stock, as the other end hole will fit on the brass fitting.
I took my stock in and opened up a few different packages, I couldn't get the 4" to line up with the stock hole that wasn't too close to the trigger guard. So I drilled 2 holes but I like how much firm it is and I stayed polymer.
Kkarmical, I was wrong. I just looked at the one I bought and it is 2 1/4" long with two holes. I haven't, opened it yet as the gun is with Will Piatt.
It is an M-Lock alum picatinny rail Magpul MOE .... Ordered it on Amazon.com nice and beefy. But I will try to use the supplied brass fitting for one bolt. Then drill a hole for another brass insert to be epoxied in for the other bolt.
This review plus the extras in the comments on tuning have been awesome. Thank you strikefast for your due diligence & tinkering with this PCP, as well as to the others with their input. I have been eyeing this Kral since its debut and have decided to have a go at it. BTW, Semper Fi to you devildogs on here... MCAS El Toro 77-81
I have put the Kral into the hands of Will Piatt, who is a master tuner in my book. He owns Saddle Mountain Gunsmithing here in NC.
He is also a club member and friend. I did what I wanted to do with the gun so far and I am starting My FT Grand Prix circuit next week. No time to tinker.....Lol
I asked him to work his magic without a barrel swap. Will be interesting to see what he comes up with. I will post the results when I get the gun back.....
out in '74. Headquarters Company, H&S Battalion, Camp Lejeune..
Will be waiting for the results, I also like to smith my guns & tear into stuff in general, but as you say time is always in short supply. This will be my first PCP as my only airgun is a springer Diana #36 I purchased back in the 90's, but she is a beauty and shoots real fine...potent in the recoil dept. which is my interest in the PCP w/ negligible recoil for varmint eradication. I also like the handiness for confined areas too. Good luck in you GP Circuit... Peace out.
Thanks for the great review, Strike. My .25 with a full tune and LDC from WAR should be here Friday, I can't wait, should've just driven the two hours south and picked it up... I'll keep you posted on velocity and accuracy.
Semper Fi, Mag13

I have a friend in Puerto Rico who is modifying and tuning all the guns for the guys down there.
He really is a great machinist and welder. He manufactured a 4500 psi tube for his Kral and who know what else......
I made a curly maple field target stock for my back up comp rifke. He machined the alum knobs for it while I was on instant messenger conversing with him. Done in 10-15 min and mailed within a hour!!!
I will contact him after I post this and see if he will send me the figures on his Kral...
First I have to say this.,.. My hat is always off to any of you who has worn THE uniform, With deepest Respect Thank You!
I have my Kral Mega it is going to blow the PCP world up with it's price vs quality For those that has had issues with the bottom rail for whatever reason it doesn't seem to be an issue with the wood stock tightens down fine on mine. I will get some shooting data on it asap
