my new PP700S-A in .22

Nice!!! Love the PP700!

one suggestion is a micro reflex sight and the lowest pic to dovetail adapter so the distance between the dot and the bore is as low as possible so the close range shots won’t be as hard with little hold over.

however your current setup would work great with the carbine stock so your eye would line up better when you develop a check weld.

Yes they are fun little guns for sure. My .177 ended up being so accurate that it compelled me to scope it. I just felt like I was squandering its potential with anything less. Tuned to a modest 560fps with the 9.3gr RWS Supermag wadcutters (6.5fpe), it will reliably put them in dime at 25 – 30 yards. On a calm day, anyhow.

A word of caution though. The regulator is among the most persnickety I’ve ever dealt with. For some people it works great but quite a few have thrown their hands up and installed a Huma. Assuming yours is currently working well, be advised there seems to be a good chance it will start acting up when the day comes that you have to open it up and replace an O-ring. The culprit appears to be the white plastic disc that serves a dual role as a seal and the valve seat. Frequently it will either leak or creep (or both) after reassembly. There’s a detailed fix posted on GTA titled “PP700SA regulator fix” if you want to familiarize yourself with it.

Meanwhile have fun with it!

Yeah great guns, fuciliere (in richmond) made me this sweet oak grip. Love it.

And Carlo (monte) made this pellet guide. Works very well, simple but effective.

@qball. thanks for the tip.

@MrP. Good to know.

@nervoustrig. thanks for the heads up. I am not planning to increase the energy at the moment. Currently it is sending out the AA16gr at 480fps with a STD of 1.2fps. I will read up the information when I get to it.

@Glem.Chally. Yes I know him personally. Great stock he made and nice pellet loader idea.

@enkey. interesting stock configuration. very cool.

 I’ve had one in .22 cal.for a year now and has worked great. The pellet guide that was mentioned was my first thought of doing any modifications. But you can file the notch at the top of the right Grip down a little bit and it will allow the breech block to swing down further giving you complete access to the breech . It makes loading much faster and easier.And it’s a free mod.

I have one of the pellet losing I mean loading thing and took it off. I just use a cheap pellet pen, much faster and easier to load. The pellet loading thing actually gets in the way of the pellet pen.

@max115: I would also suggest getting a cheap 177 barrel from Wes, that would get you to 600FPS and shooting very flat for longer shots. I had mine with a scope and have no issues hitting quarters at 30 yards all day, due to its light weight it’s not the easiest to hold steady.

Bought my PP700S-A from Wesley of Airgunarcheryfun.ca. What a nice little pistol! Fun to shoot and accurate as well. I just need to practice more off hand shooting for sure.

Enjoy, thanks.

I picked one up in .22, had Wes send it to Verdium Air to receive one of Brian's full power tunes which includes a Huma, can't wait to get it in my hands.
