My poor bucktail...

First off I must say I have been very impressed with the bucktail moderator. I prefer it over my tatsu as far as sound suppression goes. But today I was testing new slugs and different weight pellets ( all 20-30gr) I was really pushing my compact.. I kinda had a feeling the buckrail wasn't going to take it..but pushed the limit anyway. Before I knew it I noticed it splitting apart. Normally I run 18gr pellets at 33fpe and it held up just fine.. after my little test and tune day... I'm back to 18gr pellets and yes I ordered another buckrail

Thank you for reminding me! ...need to order.a other. I blame myself was using it on a break barrel that I gotta...SLAM...closed. I'm willing to bet it was my fault bc none of my others have failed with normal use.

I purchased one for my 2240 bottle gun and it’s perfect. But I always wondered how much it could take. I’m not a fan of printed stuff. But it’s light, cheap and knocks the sound down on that low powered gun. It will stay on that gun. I won’t let curiosity get the best of me now.

Definitely cheap enough to try out. Still looks cheap though (I think most printed stuff does) but it works well. I ordered another for a different rifle.. I better keep the tatsu on my compact

Had 1 in 25 since last year. Blew apart @ the point the tape teachers full diameter. Obviously a structural weak spot. Sent a picture to buckrail , had a new one in 3 days. I use thos on my maverick compact with impact bottle.

I blew mine apart but it was my fault. Some how the shroud barrel got twisted and when I shot it the pellet hit it.....
