Doubtless the slug gave the penetration needed for the job, but the expansion do not seem anything to envy or showoff.
Each time I get more convinced of the results of JSB' Hades in .30 Cal. It provides everything: power, accuracy, penetration and expansion. 100 foot pounds on a .30 Cal and the JSB' Hades, you have all you need for the job.
I have not tried yet the JSB' Hades in .25 Cal on a wild turkey, but I shall eventually do it.

We head soot them if possible. Not going to get much expansion going through the vessels in the neck. There’s really not that much there to dump the energy into. Certainly not like hitting a big chuck of flesh. They do the job, that’s for sure.
