Beeman My take on a Beeman Marshall carbine

She's a big baby lol. Gun shy. Dunno what happened to her before I got her. We found her in the woods, under weight and full of tape worms. She was roughly 4-6 months old, she's pushing 18 YO now.
More then likely previous owner shot a shotgun right beside her when she was young and scared her to death making her gun shy, no dogs are usually gun shy the owners make them that way.. after doing that he probably dumped her like a idiot.
Great dogs loved owning and hunting with mine.

That's exactly what I think happened to her. She had no tags or chip, just out there alone and half dead from worms and being malnourished. She's a little girl, never got over 25lbs, and that was when she was kinda fat! We went on vacation and had her stay with an uncle. He couldn't get her to eat her dogwood, so he just fed her hotdogs all day. Said she wouldn't quit eating them! Ya think?!

Got the barrel shimmed and secure, drilled the transfer port section open, and didn't have to epoxy anything. The clamping force smashed the aluminum tin tight enough to not leak any air. Cut the shroud down about 1.5", bored the barrel bushing and got the shroud working.

Had to shim the scope 3 sleeves of can on the front mount to bring the crosshairs down. Dunno why that arose, but im hitting 1 hole groups with every pellet so far at 20 feet, so I'm hoping it's all good.

Mags actually work and sit tight in the breech due to just a bit of overhang on the barrel shims catching in the mag lock area. Single shot tray works. Loads WAY smoother.

So I can confirm a kral barrel will fit these guns with extremely minimal work.

Got out this morning like a good air gun nut should, and shot a quick couple groups. It's absolutely abominable outside!

These are at 25 yards, in the frigid cold with 20 mph wind gusts. AA16s on the left, JSB 18s on the right. 10 shot groups from the mags.

I'd say I'm getting somewhere now! You can see how the lighter pellets got pushed around compared to the 18s. IIRC, this barrel did very well with 18s, terminators, and polymags when it was on my jumbo. It was getting too much blast on that gun with how big the ports were and higher pressure, so they'd get a flier or 2 every mag. Looks like the barrel likes this gun!

When the weather decides to be tolerable again, I will stretch it back to 35 and try more pellets. Should be a good little squirrel buster now.

You're nuts. We have been hunkering down holding off the cold. No desire to get out and shoot. I will just shoot in my 60 degree basement.
Im going to tether to the bottle later and shoot through the boredom down in the basement. Only have about 25 feet to shoot in, but that's fine. It'll just make me think I'm an awesome shooter since it'll all be one hole groups!

If I had your skills and time and space to shoot I would have just as much fun :)
