So, I set out to improve the Challenger Bullpub Cal.50. The changes are:
Adjustable and harder hammer spring, all sliding surfaces polished.
Inside polished barrel with new 15 degree crone
Valve with 1.5mm more stroke and weaker returnspring.
HumaAir regulator with additional power plenum.
Modified trigger.
Modified cocking lever.

I can fire 10 shots at 1100 fps with 250 grain slugs before I get under the set 190 bar regulator setting. I want 1010 fps, so there should be 12 stable shots inside. This weekend I was unfortunately only able to measure the speed and will deliver the hit pattern at 100 mtr as soon as possible, but for now I am more than happy with my work,,,,,,,,,,Everything done right (y) I'm now waiting for 300grain slugs for zeroing to 35 mtr with 1010 fps.

Today I did a few test shots with 250 grain slugs ........ my FX Pocket v2 was no longer able to measure the FPS, so I was probably over 1200 FPS (Subsonic) and the rifle was incredibly loud (with silencer), so I could only make a few shots here in my company. Before, the hammer spring was louder than the shot.
I will test 300 grain slugs and lower the regulator from 190 to 180 bar, as well as set the hammer spring a little weaker to get down to 1020 FPS.
But it's unbelievable what the changes to bullet velocity have brought.
I think I can make a short video tomorrow and upload it, so you can get an idea of the performance increase instead of just reading.
