2nd shoot of the season. Nice after the rains - but light wind and funny switches - tuff. Sunny but chilly. 2nd match was really nice. Calmer and less switch.

New shooter, FT Juan, came over to the darkside and did well. Keith missed one with his Pro slug-gun for his 749 series and beat the big boys.
Dangmn JoeF... I need to take that 50yo beat up Suhl away from him - 750-65x - 22X cards - Sportsman. It would have been a 750-50X in Pro.

Next match 2/9/25. USARB & N50.

Matt to my left, Bobby to my right. I was surrounded...

Going to the shooting range tomorrow and try to get my .30 M4 dialed in at 50 yards. I have shot it 4 times so far. I have put 450 pellets thru it so far. Looking forward to the March 9th competition.

Yes. However, if you look at the N50 Leaderboards from last year .22's led the way in scoring. Results speak volumes...

All I saw were .22, so I was a little confused

Despite the 50gr 30 cal having better wind resistance...I have yet to see the pinpoint precision from it at 50y compared to a great 22.

At 100y....the 30 accuracy hangs in there while the 22 starts to wane. The added wind resistance of the 30 takes over and it is way easier to shoot.
