Need a little 2240XL help with muzzle tilt.

Love, love, love this little gun. I have it shooting really nicely right now and am able to get 1-1.5" groups off hand at around 15 yards. I'm shooting with a red dot and I have it sighted in perfectly if your shooting it resting on a bag. Shooting off hand I seem to shoot about 2-2.5" high for at least the first half to 3/4 of the CO2 cart. 

I plan to shoot this pistol mostly off hand so I'd like to see which of the two choices most people would go with here. I don't really know which is "preferred".

1. Keep the zero set for when rested on a bag and compensate with aim.
2. Move the zero to POI a few inches high and then compensate when the CO2 cart starts running low.

Practice holding the gun steady during the firing cycle. both bagged and off hand, Over time (with deliberation) the diff in POI will shrink. The gun is moving differently off the bags than when it's it you hands.

This only seems to happen to me with CO2 guns, even real steel pistols I don't have the issue. Any suggestions on how I could modify my grip to keep the muzzle down better?

A bit of weight on the end of the barrel will probly help more than trying to modify your grips.

If you haven't already try lightening the trigger pull. Softer spring, super sear, mine was crazy hard to pull and stay on target.

I've already performed all the trigger work and it's very light and smooth. I might still be pulling the trigger hard instead of squeezing so I'll look into that.

Are you running it with an LDC? I shoot mine with a sumo and it adds a nice little weight to help with muzzle movement

Yes - I've shot it with a Donny Tanto and also a Hugget Astille - the weight does help.

Compensate with good ol KY windage!
