Just got my wife interested in an air pistol but she can't close the cocking on the new one just bought for both of use. Does anyone have a recommendation for a quality pistol that a woman can operate? Thanks
A self contained used Daisy 747 or at least 717. Probably in the $200 - $250 price range easiest to cock and shoot all day long and really quiet too. Can also buy an adapter to mount a red dot too.
The Daisy 747 is a great choice and there is the Zoraki a bulky but lightweight pistol, in the $220-$240 price range. easy on the first pump, the Baikal 46M target pistol is great also although in the $600 price range.. Although you may have to carve on the grips a little to make it fit her hands.
I have the 1701P. It only puts out about 6fpe, but is a dream to shoot. Nice trigger, dead easy to cock and load. Highly recommended. It is a single shot, and it is a tad front heavy with the air cylinder out front. I highly recommend though
If you want one just to plink and target shoot , And just requires one cock, I would try to find the Daisy that Odoyle mentioned. He’s the reason that I bought mine. I bought a daisy 717 on eBay but had to re-seal it. It ended up costing me $95 total. It was very easy to reseal. But I see ones in working condition all the time on eBay. The ones that are in nice condition that are working normally go for $150-$200. But they are nice shooting pistols that are accurate. I see them on there all the time.
