Need advice on choosing a pcp tank for my aea bullpup 50cal

I have a aea bullpup 50cal with a Max Air Filling Pressure (Heavy Hammer Spring): 4500 psi. Has 500cc tank. What would be a decent price size tank? What would be a cheap route? Also how much fills can i get from it?
Cheap and Air Guns are not two words used together. Get too small and you'll be refilling it constantly, you haven't said HOW you'll be refilling said tank. Or if you need it to be luggable. I have a 74cf and it's good for my needs, I think that much smaller wouldn't serve to refill on a day of serious shooting, but...YMMV. The number of refills is questionable, you're already at max on the tank pressure so it's only down hill from there.

@HogKiller - LOL "Cheap and airgun are not two words used together". Ain't that the truth! It is a fun ride though!

The only way to fill a rifle to 4500 psi is to have a source greater than 4500 psi. They have 6000 psi nitrogen tanks available from welding supply stores. Try and haul THAT tank around, good luck! If you want to shoot a big bore air rifle you will have to step up to the plate and get a bottle and a compressor. Maybe six or ten refills and the tank will be at less than 4k, then what? Time to fill!

I just bought a Used 60 mins Scotts scuba tank that is decommissioned. Can this be hydrotested? Also, after 6 shots from 4500 psi it goes down to around 2500-3000.

That is quite the air hog! Might want to get a larger tank and then cascade them to get all the air you can out of them. Airtanksforsale.com or airhog.com sells really good air supplies.

Cascading is when you use the largest tank to fill the most volume then top off with a smaller, higher pressure tank. Also the prices of compressors are really coming down this year. Great time to get into the sport!

As much as I am anti China compressor I think they are your only really good (use that term loosely lol) option unless you want to hardly ever shoot the big bore as you won’t get many super high pressure fills at all from an scba. Other option is too toss the high power washers out of the gun and run it in it’s much lower psi sweet spot with those removed.
