I’m trying to apply a carbon fiber wrap on my Wildcat MK3 and I’m having a difficult time degassing the gun so that I can apply the wrap to the air cylinder. When I pull off the dust cover, the gauge at the front of the gun is attached via a super thin brass nut, but no wrench in my toolbox seems thin enough to be able to grab onto it. I even went to Home Depot and bought a thin wrench set to help me accomplish the task, but they still weren’t thin enough.
I watched Ernest Rowe‘s video on YouTube demonstrating how to disassemble (and degas) the Wildcat MK3, and he simply pulled out of wrench and loosened it right up and made it look like a piece of cake... but alas, I’m stuck.
Anyone have any suggestions on how best to go about this? Am I missing something?
