Need help from adept air gunners hatsan and fedex problems

Hey everybody I’m new here and wish this wasn’t my reason for posting …it’s always nice to enter a new platform on a good note but unfortunatly the situation calls for a more negative note..I hope I am posting in a reasonable place and this will get some attention and most of all I’m not stepping on toes.

It all started when I order an airgun directly from hatsan thinking this is my best bet considering warranties and any matter that may require maintenence or disfunction of the gun would likely be easier to deal with if I ordered direct from the manufacturer. I thought this was wise cause I’m only moderately aquamted with airguns.. I’ve been reading a ton but only own a handful due to financial constraints. Which is one of the biggest reasons why I’m still so upset and still trying to find help on the matter… I’ve tried so many entities online and no one could really be of any help in contacting hatsan…so here i am joining all these airgun forums to help get this matter resolved and you know what im gonna stick around and start posting I’ve been pretty antisocial online and need to stop doing that… I’ve noticed there’s really a hard line between two types of people who reasearch online , those that just read and lurk forums and those that are actually members of forums and do a ton of socializing on the forums . Well truth be told I’m the former not the latter but I need to break out of my shell anyway and this is a good opportunity to do so. Anyway back to this tragic story

One day I was browsing hatsans site and I saw that the hydra four barrel interchangeable rifle was on sale. I pay them by visa card and I wait… well to my surprise only a few days later here in California the tracking said that it was going to arrive today. At the time it was about 8am so I head out front and do some outdoor activities in order to catch the person delivering my package …well I wait and wait and keep checking the tracking . All of a sudden my tracking is updated with “delivered” and I immidiatly felt my body flush with anger/panic knowing I was about to embark on a nightmarish mission to attempt to retrieve my rifle from wherever it may be. I looked all around my property and asked several neighbors if they received a package or if they saw a fed ex truck go by. No on saw anything all up and down my street. Everyone knows each other in my neighborhood so it’s pretty much a fact when no one sees anything that no one saw a thing. So we knew for sure that no courier truck went by. At the time it was about 1030.

Before I continue I want to be clear about the fact that this wasn’t my first conflict with fedex. In fact they had failed me on every occasion of the three times I explicitly hired them to deliver something. Also every time with the exception of one package made it to me when others used their courier service to deliver to me. Also just a little online research will yield a mountain of results pointing at the fact that fedex might as well be a criminal organization involved in the theft of tons upon tons of guns and ammunition. In conclusion I’m pretty sure that the driver most likely stole my airgun. I spend the next two months of every moment of free time on the phone with fedex and they pretty much did everything in their power to convince me somehow it was my fault and I’m screwed.. well due to my extreme persistence and anger I had finally got them to admit fault and that they were willing to pay for the damages with the exception that hatsan was willing to contact them and confirm the cost etc. easy peasy right? Good god if there’s ever a company with non existent customer service. Here I am about a year later 5 reviews and 10 messages and an infinite number of calls later with 0 results… I tried everything and even told them I’m not blaming them and only need for them to let fedex in on some very simple information and I will order from them AGAIN! Well no response …can anyone give me any advise on handling this… is there a different number should I just take fedex and/ or hatsan to small claims cause I’m not dropping this matter until I’m reimbursed Thanks in advance
 
I had a similar issue that has never been resolved and yes I am 100% convinced the drivers are stealing these items when this same situation occurs.
I have a door camera and at the time of delivery no recording, plus I was home at the time, no package deliverd.
I wish someone would bring a law suit against them to make them monitor their workers more closely. I think they basically don't care or its a "LOCAL" management approved theft operation. This also seems to be a streaming trend in UPS and Amazon. A couple of weeks ago a neighbor got an Amazon delivery notice with a picture of a package at a dead end street of undeveloped property - no one in the neighborhood had any idea where this was located. Several tried a picture locator app - none worked. Almost daily in our neighborhood someone is posting on our FB page - "looking for a package to XXXX" -thats absolutely not an exaggeration 4 to 5 times a week.
From this day forward I request anything of value be sent - "adult signature required" seems to have helped - so far.- I call the vendor and give instructions of how I want my orders shipped- I am sure they get sick of it but thats the whole point. I think the vendors are the ones that have to power to make these companies operate with some dignity and until we all start making it a pain in the Xss to ship and receive all these phone calls- nothing going to change.
If I ship any "gun related" items such as from the is forum its going to be US Postal insured, and I also request USPS if shipping to me - so far has been my best results.
 
Well here latley they seem to be inacting there own gun agenda/ policy's. Tracking your gun buy data, disposing, confiscating, damaging ,. The reports on this stuff is getting more and more. Heck it's been in the news to look up.
State attorney's looking at it and all .

They got proof of where it diliveted and by what driver its all scanner in. But then what do you hold ? File a claim or dispute..lol good luck cutting that red tape and get results.

Ya, its sad times and they know your mail order stranded on 90% of this stuff. No more walk in pay cash and walk out in hand . As it should be.
 
Hey guys I ended up in a little trouble from a dui that haunts me from 2010 and an ex that has a thirst for blood … she’s convinced I chose my airguns over her ...*** content removed by Moderator****…ok so maybe I did she just has no idea how much fun shooting and collecting is…. I rememeber one time she caught me playing “(kill the commie) tea party“with my guns and that about sent her over the edge … but that said I’m back and intend to stay active on here..

anyone know if this is still worth pursuing what the statue of immitations on this sorta thing… gotta love how fedex is employing and participating in a widespread organized criminal weapons theft ring and yet when your ordinary civilian steals a sandwich cause he’s dowm on his like he may do hard time and ruin his future reputation among employers and even social circles … anyway as big a problem fed es was and is…hatsan is certsi Lu the biggest component to the problem. As is tillhavnt been able to reach hatsan…and fedex al ready said they would reimburse me so long as hatsan acslled and confirmed the cost really frustrating
