Brocock/BRK Need Help! I think my regulator is not working

To start I am very new to air guns as this is my first one so I don't know to much about them. I bought a brocock sniper xr. When I first received it I cleaned everything and set up to test it out. After firing a few shots and testing the fps I noticed pretty wild deviations. On low power they would spread out anywhere from 503 to 462 Jumping as far as 30 fps between shots. Then I noticed the regulator After sitting for about 10 min would climb all the way up to 152 bar. After shooting about 4 shots it would be down to about 125 and start acting more like I would expect. It would drop 10ish bar right after being fired and have a very quick return to 125. Even at this point I would still easily get 10 fps difference from shot to shot. My dad bought the exact same gun and was within 2 fps every shot so I assume all the testing equipment was working fine. After setting it down again for the night the regulator was reading 152 bar in the morning. Are there any simple checks I can do before sending it back for warranty? Please keep in mind I am very new to this so nothing can be stated to simply. Thanks for the advice.

So out the box as you describe its not shooting consistently? How many shots did you actually record in your chrono strings? Was all this from a full fill? The .22 Sniper typically comes with the regulator set at 150 BAR. Are you saying your regulator is set at 125 BAR? If you actually describe methodically how you tested. You will get the help you need here. The Sniper XR is a solid choice and typically is good to go “out the box”.

I do have a video and picture if that would help
