Need help measuring for Butler Creek scope caps

go to the Butler Creek website. They have a sizing chart you can download. It's easy to use and accurate.

I guess you are referring to http://www.butlercreek.com/on/demandware.static/-/Library-Sites-HuntShootAccessoriesSharedLibrary/default/vd166e5218facde19e4205835e52dc3e3d6711b53/butlercreek/scope-cover-measurement-guide.pdf

Looks like my measurements will work.

Would really prefer caps that fold down flat though - anyone know a good brand for that?

Vortex Defenders fold flat. Once I found those, I stopped ordering Butlers.

I'll check 'em out - Thanks.

You can even use a ruler and measure the lenses diagonally that way too in inches (just to confirm if your mm setting was correct). The butler creek website has a size chart that you can then match it to. IMO, I actually found that buying a size UP was better than buying too small, because if it's too small and it's not the flexible covers, you won't be able to fit them on, but if it's just a tad too large, you can always fix that with a little masking tape on the inside. but of course the actual correct size is best. hope this helps

I'm looking here: https://www.butlercreek.com/scope-covers/flip-open-scope-cover---objective-lens/P00180.html

Trying to figure out how to measure for the right size caps. So I measured the outer diameter of the new CT 3-series scope I got.

I get 57.1mm for the front and 45.7mm for the eyepiece.

It appears size 25 is perfect for the 45.7mm. I see they have a size 40 which is 57.2mm - would this work or would it be too loose?

Some people have been happy with Monstrum:

You could try them out and return them if you find them unsavory.

I have always been extremely satisfied with Amazon's return policy.

I haven't had a size down not fit yet and I've used them for years.

I was just looking these up yesterday and downloaded the chart to take to the local gun shop to order some Blizzards. Hopefully this chart works out for you too.
