Need help on a tank set up

can someone please either post up a pic or a link of the type of fill connector and whip, pressure gage and bleed screw, of what goes into a fire fighters tank? I’m familiar with a DIN connector like what’s on my AirHog, but unsure of what to get for my hand me down fire tank. I’ve tried doing the research, but have trouble even zooming in to see pics of fill stations. Thank you for sure

Forgot a couple tips. The tank side probe comes two ways, either will work one has an Oring one does not.

Get a male to male Foster fitting to fill in a dive shop, that way you don't need to take the fill station off the tank about $10.

Lenwebber, thanks for the reply back with the link. I saved a photo of one of the fill systems in your link, my question is so this would just thread onto the black valve on the fire fighters tank, and the small knob on the end is the bleed screw I’m assuming?

That's correct the piece with the knarling is the piece with the threads and screws onto the scba tank.

Exactly correct. Make sure you get the hand tight version like the photo you posted. The wrench tight ones are a pain unless you leave them connected all the time.

Do I need to get a special adapter that threads onto the fire tank, that has a male QD to accept my compressors fill whip. I know I could just use a double male fitting and couple the hoses together, but man, that a lot of hose.

All the dive shops I've filled at have Foster female, few don't have the male. My compressor has the female so I go female tank to female compressor with the male to male fitting. The hoses have very little air.

Is your dive shop able to fill to 4500psi mine said they only can fill to 3000psi

Shooooot!!! Just before I hit the buy button to get all the parts and pieces for this fire fighters hand me down tank, and I thought I’d check it out closer. It’s only a 3000 psi capacity tank!!

The best fill at a dive shop I gave seen/used was 4250#.
