EDgun Need help please(solved)

New Leshiy 2 shipped from Spain with the digital gauge. Wanted to swap in a Wika analog but after taking off the snap ring the gauge body will not move. I don't want to damage it that's how bound up it is. Edgun west has a YouTube video on this procedure and his example slides right in and out. I am stumped....has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

P.S. the entire system is degassed.

try opening the firing valve to make sure its 100% degassed (I know you said it is but it’s always good to double check) use an Allen wrench or something to push it. Once you verify and I see you have the snap ring removed it should just pop out.

Nevermind....after attaching the photo I said to myself "what IS that?" I hadn't noticed before but the black material that looks like it is oozing out is the O-ring!

I haven't filled it yet. I can't imagine why that o-ring is in that kind of shape?

Yes, that is crazy. That o-ring should be sealing against a solid surface across its entire width. It's almost like that gauge body is was somehow shoved too far through exposing the o-ring....

UPDATE: that was one of the two o-rings on the gauge body. Using my master's in engineering (joke) I used an Exacto blade to cut away bulging o-ring and then gently pressed it through with a set of small channel locks with soft tape around the jaws. Worked. But again, I don't know how that happened. Good thing I purchased o-ring kits with the rifle!
