Gentlemen,
I have a friend who recently purchased a Benjamin 137 Air pistol with the tootsie role cocking lever, however, it did not hold air.
A neighbor of his had some limited experience and parts for this gun. They were able to get gun to hold air with new seals, but the gun now with several pumps of air, will not fire the air when the trigger is pulled. Also noted is the caulking probe is extremely sloppy and he feels this may be leading to the problem of not releasing the air when trigger is pulled, now rendering the gun unusable and locked full of air!
Does anyone here have an answer or solution to this situation? How does one empty the existing air if gun can't be fired? Any help would be much appreciated. Personally I know nothing of these pistols and can offer no help for my buddy, but love to have a solution to provide to him! I would love to have this turn into a positive experience for him and keeping him interested in shooting airguns!
Very much looking forward to hearing back from you guys!
Kindest regards,
Mike
