Need help with a new Wolverine R

I just received a new Wolverine.

I mounted the scope and start the process of alignement.

During the process three times the rifle shot alone. Without touching the trigger. REALLY DANGEROUS.

In one ocation the safety was set and supposedly avoiding to shoot.

I unscrew the "A" adjuster a little bit counter clockwise thinking that could have come too thighten and then the cocking could be barely locked. But honestly I do not know if that is the problem.

Do you have a first stage travel or is it set as a single stage trigger? The first stage travel adjusting screw (screw C) could actually set the sear too critical if screw A was not turned counterclockwise enough.

Back screw C off a turn or two and work screw A by itself. If A is too far clockwise, it pushes the trigger bar off the sear and the gun can't hold itself cocked.

Count all turns, small and large, so if it gets extra crazy, you can always go back to the starting point.

I've noticed on mine with the trigger adjusted very light when the weather gets cold the gun will fire when the bolt is closed, easy to readjust though. Not just the Wolcerine have other guns do it also. Note there may be a locking set screw on top of that adjustment screw that has to be removed first.

Apparently problem already fixed and trigger is now duly adjusted.
