Need help with air bow fishing (air rifle) scope not a red dot

Has anyone used a 1x prismatic scope for air bow fishing?

Looking for something that is bright enough to use on sunny days on the water that will work for people with astigmatisms.

I am setting up two rifles and I would like one to have a red dot and the other some sort of 1x style scope if it’s bright enough to be useful.

@stre-tch Surprised that you are using a solid fiberglass arrow that's normally used in bowfishing. It didn't occur to me that there was an airgun designed to launch something like that. What is the make and model of that airgun?

Umarex javelin fishr

I just bought what Utah air guns recommended. Haven’t even sighted it in yet. Need to pick up another gun for the prism scope.

Now that it’s winter I need to wait till the carp start coming up into the shallows or it will be the spring spawning run.
