That's a good tip. I actually encountered that problem and now I do a quick check on those barrel screws. Earlier on when I was first getting used to the guns that in fact was one of my problems... I'm also being very careful with my hold and viewing angle and all of that. It's also good advice though because I've noticed for sure if I clutch the gun things change a little bit.
I made some changes to a moderator that I had on the end there and I think my accuracy has gone up considerably. I've had to do far less progressive zero point adjustment when shooting across a range of powers than I had to before. I wonder if it was air currents through my moderator that were shifting and putting slight lateral pressures on the pallet as it left at higher power that were different when it lower power.
On my last two fills i had perfect zero point after refilling to 4000 psi. Shot a bullseye at around 2500 psi. Refilled to 4000 and got bullseye without rezero. That is a nice feeling and one I haven't experienced as often as I'd like
