Other New 300cc Carbon Bottle Out of Date

Hi All,

I recently received a .3L cf bottle in a HajiNotos kit for my Notos. The bottle has a mfd date of Oct 2020 and an inspection duration of three years. Any reason for concern?

That bottle is good for 15 years?

I would only think about the 15 year "lifespan" on a tank if you are filling it yourself. Testing is the hydrostatic testing.

I bet Haji would exchange it if you asked him. If you are worried about the condition you can probably find a dive shop or paintball shop near you that can do a hydrostatic test for a small fee.

DO NOT hydro test a CF bottle ever thats what kills em Acoustic wave is the only way and I dont think anyone will hydrotest a 300cc bottle

I would just inspect the inside integrity. Could always find a bore scope to use for extra piece of mind. These type bottles really would never be worth doing any type of test on. A brand new one can be had on Amazon for just over 100 dollars.
