Theoben New addition (finally tracked one down)

I have been looking for one if these for a while and yesterday I finally got it. An RWS RA-800, a Theoben at heart but marked and marketed by RWS. Hyedua stock with integral vented muzzle brake. Only produced for one year they are quite rare and not a lot information is available on them. I have heard only about 40 or so were imported to the US. This one is .22 cal and has the typical Theoben shot cycle with a very nice trigger. Recently serviced it should be a fine shooter for many years.

Looks like the typical Theoben trigger that I'm used to seeing. Wonder if it had some work done to it? Very nice lines on the gun - what model Theoben would you liken it to?

Beautiful rifle Mike ! Love that African tropic hardwood. Reminds me of the Beeman Crow Magnum III that I use to own.

It is a Theoben through and through just the stamp makes an RA-800. I mentioned above it was recently serviced but not modified in any way other the trigger was also tuned. It should fit in model wise with most of the Theoben mid power series such as my Olympus, Sirocco, etc. Size wise it's on the smaller end and comparable to the Olympus and larger than the Fenman.

Thanks for the compliments, been looking for this for a while. Thought I had a lock on one a year or so ago but that didn't work out. All is good this one was just serviced by Airgunwerks, was cheaper than the other one and I am friends with its previous and original owner!
