New air shotgun

@Cheplicki I looked on the Serpent Arms site and what's not clear is if the shells are reusable. They're $1 each so I wonder. I imagine that the colored caps fly off and are hard to find or possibly damaged or destroyed, but how about the shells? Where do they go once you take a shot?
They are if you can find them but about every 1-3 shots the rear rim breaks off. Just tested today.

I took a nice gobbler with the swa air shot gun it’s a beast very capable and built like a tank

Reading some of this thread makes me wonder why a standard .410 or 28 gauge shotshell wouldn't work. Reloading would be a breeze since they would match the PB's normally used.
I'm thinking that the base could be modified with a larger primer pocket (or maybe it doesn't need it?) to allow a probe with an O-Ring for sealing against the brass, to push into the wad and shot, providing the air to enter as though it was a primer (PB).
With that in mind, wads and crimping the opening could be used just as if it were still a PB'er. Plus a .410 normally uses .5 ounces of shot while a 28 gauge uses around .75 ounces of shot.
Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like it would work great and the hulls are readily available along with wads and shot.

awesome thank you! how do they perform vs the official capsules? any tricks or tweaks to look out for or consider?
Just when i made them out of resin, then tended to keep liquid in the cavity until it was lifted out and done...a few slits in the walls would alleviate that, i just never did that because i'm still working through the first batch i made...
i use the open cap one, and use a ring of toilet wax to seal the top instead of a snap on cap or something. it can be a little messy...
