New and “improved “ FX software

If that is true I wonder what original users are supposed to do ? You always get the latest version from the App Store. Or my device just quit working. It turns on and the light is green but in the app no device is shown to be present. Total bummer if it just decided to quit as it’s such a great tool but I would never in a million years buy another.

I get updates without asking/looking for them. It's automatous it seems. Still wors perfectly and is much better with all of the updates to date.
I don't use the AAA batteries and opted for a rechargeable battery instead like this one....
Amazon.com: Miady 2-Pack Portable Charger 5000mAh, 3.45oz Lightweight Power Bank, 5V/2.4A Output & 5V/2A Input Battery Pack Charger, Mini Portable Phone Charger for iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and etc : Cell Phones & Accessories
It works very well, but not particularly recommending that battery, it's just what I use.

I am currently researching this model. Not planning on another FX product.

To me that is quite over priced for what it is. I would just deal with the old Caldwell before I went that route. Also, the fx out of the blue started connecting to the app. I do believe it was a crappy software issue. If it works consistently I will never update that app again until I need a new phone.

It worked on Monday and I updated a bunch of apps but I really don’t even know for sure the fx app was one of them. Unfortunately I believe it may have just stopped working. I will have to live with my Caldwell as I won’t give fx a dime for another one.
Have you tried reloading the ap?
If you do reload, please know that you may lose any data you have stored (shot strings, profiles)

Did that numerous times and it still didn’t work. Came back to it several hours later and now it is connecting fine. I will never update that app again until I need a new phone.

I would have liked to have the Garmin this weekend. I tried three different loads for my 30-06 and I ordered new arrows for my recurve. I would like to see how fast my wrist rocket is chucking .36 caliber balls as well, I upgraded my bands.
