N/A New cabinet

My last two purchases put me over the brink, a new cabinet was needed that at least was child proof. After looking at all the less expensive gun cabinets, I decided I could get more storage space for less money by modifying a cheap storage cabinet from Amazon. The cabinet I bought was the Yizosh brand for $140 with free shipping. I was pleasantly surprised. It arrived securely packaged with no damage, and assembly only took about an hour. My additions consisted of a rest for the barrels, and an insert for the bottom for storage of extra pellets plus a pocket for a sheet of 2" urethane foam to rest the guns on. The extra height versus a typical gun cabinet left plenty of room to get even my longest guns in and out. All in all a good solution I think.

Nice!

I've got a double walled fire cabinet that I use for my less valuable guns. It's big, heavy and has significantly larger outside dimensions than inside dimensions and wouldn't slow down a determined burglar for very long. That cabinet you've got there would be arguablly better were it bolted to a couple of studs or to the floor. I like the idea of your cabinet for purposes of storing Gamos, Daisy's, Crosmans, etc... For the nice stuff however, I still want an actual safe.

I've also got an old upright freezer with a hasp on the side of it that I use for ammo storage.
