Believe it was you I chatted with in another thread about an experience with Corbin. The original owners are the ones that were rude to me when I contacted them two whole times in what ended up being nearly a two year wait to fill an order. I finally got that thing set up this week since the weather poo'd all over my week off plans. Gotta say, I'm quite pleased with the product and the slugs it makes. Looking at the time frames the new owners are the ones that finally finished my order and they gave me a better die set than I ordered to boot. Test fired a couple mags tonight, load easier than anything I've tried and more accurate. These new owners are probably going to get back into my pockets once I pay for the junk I bought last month. I need a second base pin punch holder to make duplicating those hollow body slugs easier and maybe some other stuff as it looks like they lowered the prices significantly! They have definitely upgraded the site for the better. There are more goods offered now. A new Corbin S Press (alone) can be had for under $1k now.
I'm perusing the new website now. Looks like they streamlined things by limiting choices which explains the die set I ended up getting and honestly a good business standpoint. The nose profile I ordered isn't available anymore and unless there is a custom order section I haven't seen yet are only offering standard diameters. What the new owners ended up sending me is what they are currently offering and a significantly more expensive die set.@IndyDurtdigger Thanks for filling in the details. I should note that communication with the new group can be spotty (at times good, other times you will need to contact them). The best way that I’ve found to get your questions answered is via email. If you call and catch someone on the phone, great. It’s good to call in the morning. I haven’t had a lot of luck leaving voicemails and getting called back. I will say that Kelly has put forth a noticeable amount of effort to take time and answer my questions on multiple occasions. Just a heads up.

I'm good. Absolutely okay with what they sent me. I had originally ordered a flat base with solid nose to duplicate an NSA slug I was shooting and can't find anymore of. What I got is quite an upgrade. I can do hollow ogive which is what I made or solid ogive with hollow point and both base punches are dish base.@IndyDurtdigger which nose profile do you seek? The selection here is based on the standard spitzer 2S. https://www.corbins.com/shop/s-press-pcp-airgun-slug-die-set-1004?category=15#attr=654,663,660
I think it would serve you well to send them an email to ask about a different ogive. You’d likely have to send sample slugs in to get the die you’d like.
