Thank you for the advice, I thought I might be wanting something that is not a viable alternative.

I would try to ask @Sqwirl57 or @thumper that question. I think those guys have more useful insight into that scenario than I could provide.
I could be way off base, but I believe that an adjustable iris that you can quickly adjust to ambient lighting conditions would be of the greatest benefit with a peep set up.

I agree. I have a Williams peep on my HW35 with an adjustable iris and it works very well. With that said I don't hunt anymore, only plink.
