New Daystate DELTA WOLF is HERE!

For no one is a mystery that I like the impact! (no one that knows me a bit online) and yes it look like one, as the priest and a few other. Any semi bullpup with a bottle will look like that. (as any bullpup look like)

But internals are different considering electronics. An yet to bee seen, performance, for me is the most important (aka accuracy), but so far, I like it. Hope to see a full press release and video from Daystate Soon!

Theoben Rapid ~ FX Royale/Boss

Blaze a trail and it will be followed!

I’m interested in the core of the system. How will it perform? I know what an Impact can do and it’s very impressive now with the Power Plenum. It’s taken years to get to this point. Let’s see what the Delta Wolf does from the get go!!

I’m trying to wrap my head around how they got an onboard crony in there. I was suspecting something at the end of the barrel but not seeing anything.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think there’s a “Chrony” per se. Not one that measures the projectile after it deploys anyway. I think that it will be able to calculate & produce the desired speed by calculating all the variables (ammo weight, power level, etc)

You mean the semi-bull pup, sidelever, with interchangeable barrels/liners using an innovative rifling method ar-15? Oh yeah total copy of the ar-15.

Not sure who or what you're winking at unless its your grand finale.

Sure, maybe so... it could be the FX Bobcat I won EBR with, or the Cricket I won Speed Silo with, or maybe the EDGun R3 Long I shot in AFT and 50Y BR? Or maybe even the .30 Vulcan2 project Copperhead I posted on AGN recently? Or maybe the fact that I turned down an invitation to shoot for the Daystate Wolf Pack? Or even the fact that I don’t currently own a Daystate? Yup, Daystate ***** all right.

My point was that it looks like any other forward cocking bottle gun Bullpup. Did shooters jump on the Royale/Boss because it looks like the Theoben Rapid? All I’m saying is at least give them a fair shake and let’s see how the performance is. That’s the proof in the pudding...

Please grab a piece of paper and a pen, design a fully functional all metal bull pup rifle that looks radically different than anything ever seen before and post it for us.

It was inevitable that Impact fanboys would start the negatives, but at least wait until guts shoot it so we can all see how good (or not} it is... ;)

I only want to touch on one thing you said - "forward cocking". Why do I see a cocking lever in the pictures if this is a semi-auto gun?

If it preforms well I would consider getting one knowing how reliable Daystate is compared to FX. I never did get an impact out of fear that something would be messed up with it from the factory. Im gonna guess that the new impacts have most of the bugs worked out however.

Recently I was going to buy an Impact, but ended up with a Red Wolf. I still like the idea of a bull pup so I'll probably get a Delta Wolf also. I'm guessing they didn't put a couple years of R&D into something that won't shoot well.
