New Daystate Revere

From the reply’s and my own experience I’m starting to believe this should be Daystate’s top gun! I shot pretty well at my first ft match with it , had some eye trouble at start of match, but was only beaten by 3 red wolfs and 3 of the best ft shooters in the north east!
My observation too. I was in the pcp marked again after 9 year of absence. It took me some 2 years to decide what what pcp to buy. In generel they were all good. All had their strongpoints and weakpoints...but the Daystate Huntsman R Regal seemed to have less critique than all the others and good reviews only. It pays to read forums.
It would become a dream if Daystate made a Revere version that had 24" barrel and an equally tube doing 25 ft/ibs in .177cal.

@rigbymauser I don’t know if this will work but couldn’t you get a redwolf barrel and mount it? They appear to mount the same don’t know if the dimensions are but would think so
Thought of it a few times. I made a tread some time ago in regards to buy spare barrels for Daystates. As I realized or subconsciously knew...spare barrels for Daystate is not an option unless one experiments.

Really enjoy my Revere..shoots as good as it looks and the cocking effort is so smooth. Quiet with a moderator and trigger is acceptable with a good shot count. Mine is in .177 my favorite call her!

@okieairgunner

How is the comfort level with the new adjustable cheek comb? I'm wondering if it's too thin from top to bottom. I like how they addressed some of the shortcomings in the stock though. Good shooting and congrats.
The comfort level is superb. I’m a shorter guy with shorter arms and I love the comfort on this rifle. The cheek pice is stronger and more comfortable than I though it was going to be.

Cannonball.

The Daystate Revere in .177cal I bought last year has conventional rifling(Whitworth style).
It shoot accurate with 8grain pellets to 20grain slugs.
Why do you want polygon rifling?.

I currently have a Redwolf and a Pulsar with a 12 grove LW barrel, and owned a Pulsar HP with a Poly barrel. I also have a RAW TM1000 with the Poly barrel. My Poly barrels need to be cleaned less often and aren’t as pellet picky as the standard LW barrels. They also do better with slugs in my experience. I had also heard that the newer Daystate Huntsman in .177 would have an ART Poly barrel in them and wanted to confirm this before I placed an order for one.

AAAAHHHHH!!!!

Gentlemen. I couldn't take it anymore All this talk about getting a new Daystate Huntsman Revere, was just too much for me to take. So shortly after their phone lines opened I called and placed an order. It went nice and smooth the only hiccup is they are selling them so fast, my order won't ship until next week, the ran out of the AthlonTalos BTR 4-14x44 FFP, but more coming in a few days. It appears that the MTC 3 x 10 is out of the picture for the package. Rich who was great suggested that I try the JSB Exact Heavy Pellets 10.34 grams, which sounded right to me so ordered some too. I will advise when I am up and running with pics.

Ordered mine last week and should be showing up this thursday. Have in laws coming to stay with us this weekend so I won't get to testing till next week. First world problems folks.

Well got to shoot it in the 10 yard basement range last night. Smooth shooter for sure. The JSB and FX pellets load much smoother than the Crosmans and H&Ns. Will do some proper accuracy tests when my tripod clamping head comes in. Trigger is great out of the box and the side lever is smooth. Silly consistant even when unregulated. 3 section 30mm huma moderator tames the bark also.
