FX New DRS deep dive video

Just saw this great video this morning:

The barrel housing looks quite different/new/thicker/stiffer at 24 minute mark, very interesting. Also confirmed my suspicion that DRS is NOT a panthera/dynamic competitor even though it supposed could be a high priced PRS competition gun.

Part 2:

When mine get here I'll be tuning it down for sub12 FT competition, it's a cool platform that has a lot of potential still.

That was a good video. These guns could be a good slug gun for sure. The barrel sure seems pretty stiff now. I liked seeing that. Also 900fps with the 40gr at 150bar is impressive.

Definitely, also the fact it can get 40 grain 22 slugs to shoot 970fps from factory is really impressive.

with 30 gr slug at around 900 fps should easily reach around 30 shots

I did a shallow dive into my DRS 22 700 this morning.
I am shooting the H&N 34gr Heavy slugs.

I backed the hammer spring tension out just a bit over 1/3 turn. The best I can tell my reg is set at 135 bar ???


These are the 1st shots from my DRS.

I'm getting about 20 shots, 230 to 150 bar, it's cold here yet.

That's pretty damn impressive string! ES of 7 and SD of 2.6 and another string with ES of 2 and SD of 1???? That's really nuts especially for 1000 bucks!!! Let's see if any of those "game changers" can match that.
