I hope it is better than the other available drag laws. The problem with wadcutters, is that very small changes to the shape around the edges of the front of the pellet can have large effects on the resulting drag coefficient. The reference law given is an amalgam of different shapes and is unproven.

That is good to know!

And a good warning — I have been looking at terminal ballistics of wadcutters and hollow points and suspected such wide differences when impacting flesh.

I think I will enter the data you sent me so graciously into Strelok Pro and just define a custom drag curve for my wadcutter — I found one in .22cal that is real heavy: 17 grains!
