Anybody got their hands on one yet? Looking to upgrade from my airchrony, which is PIA at the range as I can only focus on shooting through that tiny box to get the pellet speed and not shoot at the target at the same time. Don't want to spend on a Garmin if I can help it.

Same boat here. I checked around and no one has the Athlon in stock, everything is back ordered. I bit the bullet and ordered the Garmin. I am getting a tax refund this year so it is a wash.

I have been dealing with a very finicky FX V1 chronograph for the last couple of years. I probably dropped my gun bag and damaged it or something. Now it is very inconsistent and misses more shots than it records. I used it last weekend and it was the straw that broke the camels back.

I ordered it on Saturday and it showed up Sunday night, go Amazon. I ordered it with a hard case for added protection. Between that and my new range bag I think this one will be much more protected.

Weekend is shot so I might do some trap shooting this Saturday, will definitely try it out. I have some light and heavy loads to mess with, will be interesting.

I have FX V1 pocket chrono. and is hankering for a new one, but FX V2 dont seem nice, at least my friend battle his which is very finicky VS my V1 that generally work just fine.

The price on this seem to be Ok, for sure low enough that i would consider it.

I ordered from Optics Planet one time. Took them months to send me a scope. When I received it, it looked like a used item. Took longer to get a refund than the item. Never again. Not recommended. Caveat Emptor.
